The Sheepdogs "Nobody" (video)
Published Mar 08, 2018The Sheepdogs recently released their Changing Colours LP, and now they've treated album cut "Nobody" to some matching visuals.
The new video finds the bandmates getting into an old-fashioned barroom brawl with each other at the local saloon. It was directed by the band's own Ryan Gullen, and shot on location at the Commercial Inn in Maryhill, ON — one of the oldest taverns in Canada, having operated for more than 160 years.
"Coming up as a band, we booked a lot of shows that were us playing at the wrong bar," Gullen tells Exclaim! "Playing these shows, everyone in the band wants to kill each other. Now we finally got our chance, and I got to make it a reality."
As previously reported, the Sheepdogs have been christened with the Record Store Day 2018 title of "Champions of Canada." In honour of the event, the band will release a 7-inch featuring live performances of "Nobody" and "I've Got a Hole Where My Heart Should Be," as well as vinyl pressings of their first two albums, Big Stand and Trying to Grow.
Record Store Day is set to take place on April 21, but you can check out the band's brand new video for "Nobody" in the player below right now.
