Phoebe Bridgers Challenges All Dads to Death Duel over Eric Clapton Controversy

Now that all the out-of-touch internet dads have had their fun trying to debate the relevance of fake nudist/indie musician, Phoebe Bridgers, over her anti-Eric Clapton remarks, Bridgers has clapped back in the only way she knows how — by starting a Twitter war.Responding to a report on her recent interview where she spoke about her hate for Clapton, Bridgers wrote, "I challenge all dads to a duel to the death because I am right."
In a later tweet, she added a photo of Clapton that immortalizes an infamously racist quote from the artist. She captioned the image, "Whose man is this."
Earlier this week, Bridgers was the recipient of a wave of hate from middle-aged Clapton stans, after slamming the 75-year-old for his "extremely mediocre music" and for being "a famous racist."
Her latest album, Punisher, even contains a diss track titled "Moon Song," wherein she sings, "We hate 'Tears in Heaven' / But it's sad that his baby died," referencing Clapton's 1992 single written about the death of his four-year-old son, Conor.
