Korn Are Starting a Podcast
They've also shared a new song from 'The Nothing'
Published Sep 06, 2019Korn are set to deliver new album The Nothing come the end of next week, and the band have now announced plans to launch a podcast series of the same name.
As a press release notes, the forthcoming six-part fictional series "tells the story of journalist Matt Singer who travels to the small town of Wellden, KS, to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a teenage girl. He soon discovers not everything is as it seems in the rural community, and finds himself heading into his own heart of darkness."
A trailer for the series, which can be viewed below, also doubles as a visualizer for new song "Can You Hear Me," which will appear on The Nothing. It follows previously shared singles "Cold" and "You'll Never Find Me."
The Nothing podcast was co-written by Adam Mason and Simon Boyes and will star Keir O'Donnell, Darri Ingolfsson and Mikayla S. Campbell. While a concrete air date has yet to be revealed, the series is set to hit streaming services in October.
The Nothing — the album — is due out September 13 via Roadrunner Records/Elektra. Korn recently finished a co-headlining tour alongside Alice in Chains.
