Depeche Mode "Where's the Revolution" (video)
Published Feb 09, 2017Following the recent reveal of "Where's the Revolution," Depeche Mode's new Spirit single now has its own music video.
With frequent visual collaborator Anton Corbijn at the helm, the largely black-and-white clip takes the song's themes of revolution to heart, with Dave Gahan, Martin Gore and Andy Fletcher playing up some very old-school dystopian vibes throughout. We also get to see them awkwardly sporting some seriously big and bushy fake beards.
Below, you can watch it all play out, with just a dash of colour.
Also today (February 9), the band revealed they will be handing over their Facebook to their fans this year, asking that they provide "personal anecdotes, videos, concert photos, covers of the band's songs, or other Depeche Mode-related content." If you would like to learn more about those "curatorial duties," head here to apply.
As previously reported, Spirit arrives March 17 via Columbia. The band will also be out on a massive European tour this spring, and you can see all those dates here.
