Jared Leto's 'Morbius' Just Got Delayed Yet Again
Showing 2021 is going to be a lot like 2020, Jared Leto's Marvel blockbuster Morbius has just been postponed for what feels like the millionth time.

Following multiple previous delays, Sony's film was set to come out on March 19. Now, however, Morbius won't be arriving in theatres until October 8 at the earliest due to the ongoing pandemic.

As previously reported, Morbius is being directed by Daniel Espinosa. It will star Leto as as the titular Michael Morbius alongside Adria ArjonaMatt Smith, Jared Harris, and Tyrese Gibson.

Morbius was created in 1971 by writer Roy Thomas and artist Gil Kane, with the character first appearing in The Amazing Spider-Man #101. The character was a scientist who tried to cure himself of a blood disease but ended up transforming himself into the vampire-like Morbius villain and Spider-Man rival.
