Published Aug 02, 2019Last year marked 20 years since Sloan released their Navy Blues album, and the band have announced plans to take their fourth studio effort on the road later this year.
A first leg of the run will find Sloan touring across Canada throughout September and October, following a date this month at Edmonton, Alberta's Edmonton Rock Fest. You can find their complete itinerary below.
New graphics for the tour uploaded to social media by the band indicate that a second run of dates is on the way. A post made today announcing a cancellation for the Cobblestone Live festival in the Buffalo, NY, area points to a vinyl reissue arriving in the near future.
In treating other catalogue entries to anniversary tours throughout the years, Sloan have performed each album in its entirety as part of the live dates. In 2016, the band treated 1996's One Chord to Another to an anniversary tour and expanded box set release, and did the same for 1994's Twice Removed back in 2012.
Sloan last released their 12 album in 2018. That same year, they treated digital-only EP Hit and Run to its first-ever physical release.
