Published Sep 01, 2011Emo-kid-turned-folkie Conor Oberst wowed crowds at the Ottawa Folk Festival last week when he brought special guest Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, the Nightwatchman) on stage for a performance of "Arienette" during Bright Eyes' set.
Morello's unique style blended surprisingly well with the Omaha-based collective fronted by Oberst. Watch the seven-minute rendition of "Arienette" off 2000's Fevers and Mirrors below for some proof.
Morello remained on stage for "Road to Joy" as well, from Bright Eyes' 2005 album I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning. You can also check out that performance below.
